We would like to introduce you to all our organic powders! In this blog we will show you what powders we have, what the health benefits are and how you can use these powders in your kitchen. Our powders are not a substitute for a varied diet, so use our products in combination with your daily portion of vegetables, fruit or nuts!
Our powders are made of organic seeds, where the oil has been extracted from the seeds and then grounded into powder. The powders are produced at a low temperature (<46 ˚C), so that nutrients are better preserved. Moreover, the powders are rich in proteins and fibres. Pumpkin seed powder consists of 65% protein and 11% fibre. Our sunflower seed powder consists of 46% protein and 24% fibre. These powders are ideal to use in (protein) shakes, smoothie bowls or bliss balls.
Acai powder is made from dried and grounded acai berries. These berries grow in South America and are antioxidant-rich. The taste of the berry is a combination of blueberry, chocolate and nuts. This makes it a special addition to your daily smoothie (-bowl), raw coconut yoghurt or can serve as a perfect base for your acai bowl. Hint: Try our acai powder once in combination with raw cocoa powder!
Also called Peruvian ginseng. Maca is a herbaceous biennial plant which grows on the Andes mountains in Peru. This powder has a soft and sweet taste. The maca root is a popular export product from Peru because of the supposed medicinal effects, such as an positive impact on your energy levels and libido. Maca powder can be added to desserts, oatmeal bars and smoothies.
Hemp seed contains many essential fatty acids, vitamin E and the minerals phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, sulphur, calcium, iron and zinc. As far as fatty acids are concerned, researchers see that hemp seed contains the correct ratio of fatty acids omega 3 and omega 6. Hemp seed can contribute to a positive effect on high blood pressure, fatigue, arteriosclerosis and the immune system in general. You can use hemp powder in smoothies, protein bars or nut balls.
